UFC on FOX 3 Fantasy Picks
UFC on FOX 3 is tomorrow night, and I apologize for the late submission of my Fantasy analysis, even though I announced I'd be providing this one late. For this edition I have Jay, (aka Plague23), the co-owner of the site, who will be joining me with his predictions for the main card. For me, this card is loaded with a collection of my perceived villains in the UFC. Maybe villains is a strong term, so I'll refer to them as "least favourites" instead. Being a GSP fan, I can't find any love in my heart for Josh Koscheck. I'm not a big fan of Pat Barry, even though he is ex-military and has bad ass leg kicks, I feel he used them excessively to the point of trying to injure Joey Beltran, and since then I'm not a fan. Nate Diaz, while I like him more than his brother, still has the composure of a bar brawler, and I enjoyed watching Rory MacDonald throw him around like a rag doll at UFC 129. Finally, John Dodson left me wondering how he made it out of the TUF house alive, and he'll be making an undercard showing. While there are a lot of lesser known names on this card, I feel the matchups were done well and we should see some great fights. Check out the prelims on facebook.
Now lets get to the picks!

UFC 145: Anticlimactic Main Event & some under-card Surprises!Saturday was definitely an interesting night of fights. One of the most anticipated main events in a long time, and very likey with the most hype surrounding a match-up more than any other event in UFC History. Rashad Evans managed to go 5 rounds with Jones, and that is saying something, especially since the last 3 fights the Champ has had were against the upper echelon of Light Heavyweights in the UFC, and finished all of them. But instead of getting the emotional brawl some of us were hoping for, both men stayed professional, and stuck with their game plans with patience. There were some highlights, and elbows, but all in all the decision was not controversial by any means and Jones deserved the W. Now Jones will put his belt on the line against Dan Henderson next, and this will definately be the biggest test of his career, in my opinion.
